Harvest Festival at The Golden Age of Trucking Museum

On Sunday, October 28, 2007, The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will be holding a “Harvest Festival” from 12 noon until 3 pm to celebrate this colorful time of year. There will be a children’s costume parade. A hay ride will be available to our pumpkin patch where the children may pick their own pumpkin to take home. Apples, donuts and juice will be served and Tasia will be doing face painting while Rose will be making balloon animals for the children. All of the festivities will be included in the regular admission price and museum members are always admitted free. So plan on spending a crisp autumn day at the museum...the event will be held rain or shine. Tractor Mac will be in the art gallery and our children’s area is interactive. There is a cut-away of a Volvo that the children can get into and a Fire Truck too! For more information or for directions call the museum at 203-577-2181 or visit the web site at www.goldenagetruckmuseum.com. The museum is located at 1101 Southford Road, Exit 16 off of I84 in Middlebury, CT.
