The Golden Age of Trucking Museum to present “Military Vehicle Show” as part of Blue Star Museums

The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will present a “Military Vehicle Show” as part of Blue Star Museums, a program offering free admission to all active duty military personnel from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2010. 

“The Military Vehicle Show” invites all owners of military vehicles to bring them to the museum on Saturday June 5th from 10-4pm.  Museum volunteer, Rich Blomberg, from Newtown, is coordinating the event and is donating refreshments to all of those who bring their military vehicle to the show. It will be held in the museum parking lot so there is no fee to view the vehicles. Food will be available for purchase as well. Everyone is welcome! Regular museum admission prices apply to the general public.  

Blue Star Museums is a partnership among Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for the Arts and more than 600 museums across America.  Blue Star Families is a national, non-partisan, non-profit network of military families from all ranks and services including guard and reserve, with a mission to support, connect and empower military families.  The National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts – both new and established – bringing the arts to all Americans, and providing leadership in arts education.
