Great news for those families staying close to home during the upcoming “April School Vacation”, The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will be opened all week from April   13th  through April 19th .

The hours will be Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday noon to 4pm. The museum has a wonderful children’s area with computers, puzzles, toys, blocks, games, books and imaginative play. There is also a real cut-away of a Volvo truck and a fire engine that the children can get into. “Going Places Photography by Margaret Waage” is on display in the Founders Gallery and “Moving History” is shown in the Media Room. Over forty pristinely restored antique vehicles are on display as well as hundreds of collectible toys, memorabilia and photographs. The indoor picnic area showcases dozens of vanity license plates. You may bring a lunch or snack to enjoy while looking over the unique plates. The truck museum is a great family destination located at 1101 Southford Road in Middlebury, Connecticut.
