February Fundraiser at The Golden Age of Trucking Museum
On Saturday evening, February 2. 2008, from 6:00 until 10:00 p.m.,
The Golden Age of Trucking Museum, will be holding it’s annual, “February Fundraiser” at 1101 Southford Road in Middlebury, Connecticut.
It will be an evening set up in the showroom along side of the trucks. Guests will have a chance to sit in some of the antique vehicles while they enjoy catering by Senor Ponchos, music by a Mariachi band and karaoke. A silent auction will be featured showcasing area businesses. John and Kathy Sullivan, from Sullivan’s Jewelers of Middlebury has donated a $25.00 gift certificate for each attendee. Some of the items up for auction include; tickets to The Conan O’Brien Show, a four-some at Heritage Village Country Club, Austin Clark lithographs, a signed James Dean print by artist Chris Osborne, an antique pedal car, and much more! The Golden Age of Trucking Museum is a non-profit organization. The fundraiser will provide the museum with revenue to; expand its displays, update the children’s area and library and maintain its current exhibits.
