The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will be holding a “Saturday Seminar” on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 1-3pm at 1101 Southford  Road in Middlebury, Connecticut. Dennis Manchester from Greensboro, North Carolina will present, “History of AutoCar”.  The museum is currently home to three pristinely restored Autocars; a 1943, 1962 and 1974 all owned by Robert Manchester of Cromwell, Connecticut.
A representative from Think Clean Products, Inc. will do a product demonstration and the products will be available for purchase. Local author and historian Dennis David will also be on hand to sign copies of his books which will be available for purchase in the gift shop. The books include: TONKA, How to Restore Classic Toy Cars, Trucks, Tractors & Airplanes, FIFTIES Fins, and It’s Delightful! It’s Delovely! It’s...DeSoto. The presenters will be available for questions and discussion.

Regular museum admission will get you access to the seminar and no prior registration is necessary. Prices are $8. for adults and $7. for seniors and, as always, museum members are admitted free of charge. The museum is opened to the public year round Tuesday through Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 12-4.
