Saturday Seminar April 26, 2008

Ladies and gentlemen spend a day “ together” at the truck museum doing what you both like to do best; shopping, going out for lunch and talking trucks!

GENTLEMEN, The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will be presenting a “Saturday Seminar” on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 11:00am – 3:00pm. The seminar will take place at the museum located at 1101 Southford Road, Middlebury, CT 06762. 1/25th scale  model  trucks will be presented by  the  A.T.E.A.M. The A.T.E.A.M. is an acronym for the Affiliated Truck Enthusiasts And Modelers, a group of truck modelers who have a passion for trucks and the talent to turn that desire into miniature works of art. Many of their creations have been featured in national hobby magazines. These six modelers come together from five different states to meet at the museum twice a year, to collect information, swap stories and share what they have been working on. On April 26th they would like to share their models with you. Each modeler will display a few of their favorite trucks and tell you a little about them. A question and answer session will follow. The seminar will last about one hour and the models will remain on display until 3:00p.m. This seminar is included with your $10.00 admission to the museum, and a light lunch will be provided. Museum members admitted free of charge. Please join us for an informative and exciting day. LADIES, at the same time climb on board and attend our “Premier Designs” jewelry show and sale. Laura will have a variety of new spring designed jewelry from her collection available for try-on and purchase. Free gift wrapping will be provided and a tea party luncheon will be served. This event is free to museum members and $10.00 admission will give you access to the jewelry showcase and luncheon. So, bring your girlfriends, sisters, mom’s, daughter’s for a fun day out!
