Tractor Mac at The Golden Age of Trucking Museum

The Golden Age of Trucking Museum’s Founders Gallery is very pleased to present its next exhibit, “Tractor Mac’s Big Tread Tour”, beginning on Sunday, June 3, 2007.

Author and illustrator, Billy Steers, will be in the gallery from 2 until 4 pm that day to sign copies of his “Tractor Mac” series books. He will be unveiling his new book “Tractor Mac Saves Christmas”.All of Billy’s books will be available for purchase in the museum gift shop.

Billy is an author, illustrator and pilot. In addition to the Tractor Mac series he has worked on over forty other children’s books. He grew up on a farm in Roxbury, Connecticut where he had horses and sheep. He is married with three sons and still lives in Roxbury.

. The Golden Age of Trucking Museum is a non-profit organization located at 1101 Southford Road in Middlebury, Connecticut. The museum is open year round Thursday through Saturday 10 am until 4 pm and Sunday 12 until 4 pm. There are extended July and August hours; Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 4 pm and Sunday 12 until 4 pm. Admission is $8. for adults, $7. for seniors, $5. for children and under 2 are free.
